WHO WE ARE

We are New Wave Theatre Company, a newly established theatre company that dared to ask, "What if we started a theatre company that revolutionized the professional arts scene as we know it today?" This curiosity led us to Create a theatre company for ALL voices, Unite the theatre community within Chicago, and Empower those who would like to pursue the arts.

UPCOMING PROJECT:

THE DEEP END

New Wave Theatre Company is excited to present our very first production, The Deep End by Z. Croix Kelchen, directed by Izadorius Tortuga.

DESCRIPTION: When Mel loses herself in a brand new virtual reality product called The Diving Board, her addiction to escapism leads her to questioning reality itself. Is reality tethered to self-perception, or only to what others agree on? What happens if we lose ourselves in our own minds? What do we do when we find ourselves in The Deep End?

Ages 15+

The Den Theatre and comedy club is pleased to host The Deep End on November 19-29 , 2026 at 1331 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood.

Tickets are currently available at thedentheatre.com or by calling (773) 697-3830.
